When you first begin a sexual relationship with someone you are truly crazy about, just sharing the same bed may be enough for the two of you. As the relationship progresses, you will find yourselves becoming more comfortable with each other and the initial spark you had for each other may start to wear off. Luckily you can use these intimate lovemaking positions to keep the sex good.

Missionary
“Well Duh!” You might be thinking, we’ve been doing this for ages. The truth is the missionary position is a favorite for most girls, as it means her man will be on top of her and covering her with his whole body. Something we found was that by using the missionary position, our entire bodies were touching each other which made us feel ‘closer’ or ‘more connected’. Sorry for sounding a little ‘woo woo’ or ‘out there’ but that’s how it really felt to us.

For this next position, the man sits down on the edge of a chair or the bed. The girl then sits down on his lap (straddling her man) so that he enters her from behind while wrapping his arms around her. This is a great love making position as again the a guy is in full contact with his girl and can kiss and massage her neck with his hands and lips.

Setting the Scene
The two intimate positions described above are great for feeling closer to each other while making love, but it’s important not to forget the importance of setting the scene also. Great additions to a nice lovemaking scene are scented candles, dim light and making sure the room is not too hot but not too cold

Lovemaking Positions to use tonight

Spooning

This is probably the most intimate love making technique there is and is great for having more sensual sex. Both the man and woman lie on their side facing the same way, such that the man is facing the back of his girls head. He then enters her vagina from behind  while using his arm to hold her. Spooning is a much slower love making technique compared to say the missionary position.

The ’69′ Position

The 69 is a probably one of the most famous, yet misunderstood sex positions. To pull it off, one partner lays on their back on the bed, while the other climbs on top of them, facing the opposite direction. They then simultaneously perform cunnilingus (eating her out/licking her out) and fellatio (giving him head/giving him a blowjob). So the man has his mouth at the girls vagina while the woman has hers over the man’s penis.

Important Tip: The best configuration/position for this is to have the man lying down on his back. Why? Because if he was on top, he can move his hips more (or even too much) making it difficult and uncomfortable for his girl to give him good head (blowjob).

Rear Docking

Rear docking is a lovemaking position where the girl lies on her belly with her legs together. The man then gets on top and straddles her. He then enters his girl from behind. This position is great as his girl can control how tight she is which means wither more or less friction. It is also a really good position for stimulating the front wall of your girls pussy.

We’d advise using the ’69′ position first during foreplay, then rear docking before moving onto spooning when finishing up as it’s the most intimate of all the positions.

Let each other know what you like

This is probably the biggest mistake couples make. They keep quiet during sex and hope that they are pleasuring their partner. They’re never quite sure if they are doing the right thing…..they just hope.

Instead a little communication goes a long way. Talking to your lover about things like what positions they prefer, what sexual techniques give them them most pleasure and what they can do to make it more enjoyable are the first steps to improving your lovemaking skills in the bedroom.

Dim Light

Something that took us quite a while to figure out was how much light we should have. First we thought that keeping the lights out and being in darkness was good. It’s only good at the start when one person is a little nervous. After that, it just ruins the atmosphere and feels weird/oddly cold.

The only thing worse than complete darkness is bright light….a big NO-NO. Hopefully this goes without saying!

Instead using a dim light or even putting a white/red sheet over a lamp is great for the mood. Even better though is using candles scattered through the room to provide flickering light for your lovemaking sessions.

Talk dirty

Some people go overboard with this love making tip. They make people feel horrible by talking dirty for far too long and are too graphic when doing it. Instead the best way to talk dirty is to allude to things that you may (or may not) do to your lover. Don’t be explicit.

Saying, “I want to stick my penis in you”, is bad

Saying, “If you’re lucky and play your cards right, I may just give you a little/big suprise” is good.

Both these lines mean the same thing but sound totally different.

Lovemaking Positions Video

Hey Guys, hope that you are enjoying the blog, found a great video on different love making postions to share with you all…

It’s really cheesy and the presenters are quite annoying but it has some great tips that we used particularly for when the man is behind the woman. Another thing we found that is not mentioned in the video is how important it is for both partners in the couple to ‘prepare’ before getting intimate with each other.

While sometimes it can be nice to have a quickie, we have always found that we get the most enjoyment when both of us are clean and in a nice, comfortable bed. Obviously you don’t need to follow this like dogma when getting intimate, but when you have time, it really makes the whole sexual experience more enjoyable for the both of you.

So when we decided to go online and start looking for some good lovemaking positions, our love life was at an all time low. We both felt like losers in the bedroom and it was affecting our relationship as neither of us were satisfied in bed. But that was all about to change…

The first thing we discovered was kumasutra. We were a little skeptical at first and wondered, does it work? Is it all some sort of strange mystery. Well, we wanted to take every step necessary to improve our skills in the bedroom, so we bought a few books and DVDs. Then like the good couple we are, we set aside a weekend to try it all out.

What happened? Well we really wanted to improve our love making and to be honest, we didn’t really enjoy it that much. A lot of the positions we so uncomfortable because you had to stretch and twist your body. It was more work than fun! So we decided to look elsewhere.

We then went into an adult shop and got some toys and ‘sex manuals’. Of course we were super excited when we got home to try everything out. What was weird was that these sex toys and the sex manual were just a little too ‘out there’. We felt weird using them, it just wasn’t us.

We were getting really frustrated as we weren’t getting much satisfaction out of intercourse at all. So we decided to have one last look online. By chance we stumbled on this book. We thought it looked a bit too cheap to be any good, but we were suprised. It had so much information on just about everything. Most importantly though, it didn’t just cover kumsutra positions, but everything from toys to lubricants to different techniques.

Since then our lives have really changed, we are no longer nervous or shy physically and obviously a lot better in bed.

When myself and Slavica first met, we were definitely crazy for each other. But when it came to the bedroom, neither of us were that ‘talented’.
